Gnocchi is one of my favourite dishes to make, but I've always just ignorantly assumed that egg was an essential for making fresh homemade 'tagliatelle style' pasta so never really bothered. Oh how wrong I was! It really was quite as easy as plain flour and water! Here's the link to Jamie Oliver's 'Super Quick Fresh Pasta'. I made a creamy butternut squash, mushroom sauce, which unfortunately I do not quite have the the recipe for because well... there is no recipe... yet! It was more so one of those make it up as you go along and hope for the best! I just thought I'd share my results from my first experience of homemade pasta!
